Nothing to see here, move along, folks...

My first successful use of an armature in Blender. I think I see the flattening effect that comes of using only one loop contour at the joint. Cure for that, I think, is to use more contours.

To create realistic joints in a human figure is vastly more complex than that. The bones pivot rigidly, the muscles swell in the middle as they contract, fatty tissue gets squeezed here and balloons out there, skin stretches and folds, translucent tissue scatters light internally. What to do? One thing at a time....

I admire your courage. I tried to use Blender and found it too complex for my brain. I use Anim8or, a much more user-friendly software (and it's free too). First, I planed to use it to get acquainted with 3d modelling, before going to go on to more complex software after. But I still have to reach its' limits yet!
